General Laborer
In this position you will work on:
- Concrete patching;
- Masonry repairs;
- Floor coatings;
- Caulking and other sealant work.
You will use jack hammers and must be able to lift 100 pounds and work independently or in a large group.
A valid driver’s license is not required, but definitely a plus!
Work will be full-time, with lighter hours through the winter months.
We are willing to train the right person.
Working Foreman
- Work alongside the crew to complete various size projects related to the repair of concrete structures, typically parking ramps. Repairs will include, but would not be limited to caulking, coating application, concrete demolition, concrete/mortar repair, epoxy injections, etc.
- Be responsible for developing processes that help guide crew members to complete daily tasks in an efficient and safe way.
- Maintain project schedules so the projects are completed on time.
- Maintain an on-site inventory of equipment and material to avoid the need for emergency deliveries.
- Train employees to operate equipment and tools that are to be used on each job site, so that each employee will be safe and efficient.
- Work with the Field Superintendent to develop and improve the knowledge of the overall crew, including training, process development, experimenting with new materials and equipment, etc.
- Maintain relationships with customers and co-workers that are productive and positive.

Shop Manager
We are searching for a motivated, self-sufficient worker to assist the Field Superintendent that can maintain a clean and organized shop. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Keep all tools and equipment in good working order and kept in an organized manner;

Maintain all trucks, trailers, and equipment, including cleaning, repairs and routine maintenance and scheduling any services needed beyond regular scope;

Keep a proper inventory of consumables in the shop;

Handle all material deliveries that come to the shop;
-
Deliver materials, equipment and tools to/from jobsites;
-
Demobilizing projects when they are complete;
-
Make any necessary runs to jobsites, vendors, etc… during the day;

Assist crews in the field with various tasks when additional help is needed or when the season slows down.
This position would require:

Minimum of 18 years old;
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL would be valued);

Ability to get to/from the shop in Madison every day;

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis;

Forklift experience preferred, but will train;

Ability to work with minimal supervision throughout the day;

Mechanical Knowledge/Ability
